This is a tough one… I’m a big fan of anything local- and kid-related (duh!), but I’m especially interested in posts about kids with mixed heritages and making the most of their cultural backgrounds.

Oh, and congrats on heading to BlogHer!!!

  2. I love your blog and wouldn’t change anything about it except to add my site in your blogroll! I’m adding yours now and apologize for how long it has taken me! So glad we are both going to BlogHer!

  3. Woo HOO! Yay for you – so happy you’ll be able to go to BlogHer.

  4. Emily says:

I don’t think I’d change anything either! I love your site! It’s fun to read what you post.

Oh, I do love the email subscription option. That helps those of us who can’t remember to visit sites all the time :)

  5. You rock, and there’s nothing you need to change. Just be you! As long as you enjoy your blog, no need to change it.

i will be at blogher too–i’ll be the nervous one trying to figure out how everything works.

i liked reading that you are a perfectionist too. i am up this late because i was working on a project that i wanted to be absolutely perfect…

oh, I’m so exciting you’ll be coming to BlogHer, and even more so that you got a sponsor!!! Need a room? I still haven’t found a roomie yet.

As for you blog, I love hearing stories about how your kids interact with each other. Having an only (though not for long, haha), I don’t get to witness any sibling interaction or developing relationships.

Hey! What would I like to see on the blog…. mmmm. I don’t know. I’m trying to come up with good constructive criticism, but the coffee hasn’t kicked in yet. Maybe more about different problem solving techniques you have with your kids? That’s something I’ve been struggling with a lot lately. For example, what do you do when both (or more) kids want the same thing? What if the item in question actually belongs to child A, but Child Z was playing with it first and everything was fine, until Child A noticed and then, because he’s a little turd sometime, Child A took it just to piss off Child Z. (Not that this has happened of course…) The item belongs to Child A, and he has a right to his own things. But the only reason he wanted it was to prevent Child Z from having it. This happens a lot, and nothing I’ve tried works, everyone ends up in timeout and crying some how. Anyhoo, that wasn’t the point, the point, was that I’d like to hear how you manage the day the day issues of having multiple children that aren’t ALWAYS perfect angels (I’ll give you often, but not always on the perfect angel thing… if it was always I might have to stop liking you. ;-) )

  9. Jill says:

    Congrats on finding a sponsor!

  10. CINDY says:

I LIKE YOUR BLOG, OF COURSE LOVE THE REVIEWS. I THINK THEY ARE VERY HELPFUL!

  11. Lynn says:

I can’t use the GC, but I really LOL at Octoberkate’s A & Z story. Happens here too, where child N will take from child A, even if it’s not child N’s.

    Congrats on a sponsor!

My only feedback? Same thing we all need to do — write more! LOL! If only we had all the time in the world to write and write and write! I enjoy your writing, so I want more of it! So hard to do when you have little ones who want, oh I don’t know, attention, food, um… MOMMY! LOL!

Keep up the great work! (And tell me how you got Giant to sponsor you!)
