I had a weekend that was non-stop…and most of it wasn’t with my children!
The Virginia Wine Showcase was held this past weekend at the Dulles Expo Center and I was there!
I must confess: I am not a wine connoisseur at all. So I wasn’t there to taste a lot of wines.
I was there to help my friend Kristen of Baby Brewing.
Maybe you’ve seen her sassy, fun maternity shirts or Mommy shirts. I got one that simply says, “Mommy Needs a Cocktail.” Succinct, clear and to the point. I love it.
My favorite kid shirt is the, “My mom doesn’t want your advice” which is pictured here. She has lots of other fun, edgy ones for kids, Moms and Dads!
The best part of the Wine Showcase, though, was just hanging out with Kristen and people watching. We laughed at the young kids drinking as much wine as possible (in very small tasting quantities).
I bet you had a great time! I like the maternity shirt that says, “Pat the Belly. I Dare You.” Or something to that effect. She has great shirts.

I didn’t know about it- we headed off to the dc auto show instead -
my son was in HEAVEN
