Shoving dry spaghetti into hot dogs pieces and then boiling the whole thing results in this:

Um, no thanks. I’ll pass.
But I am curious as to whether or not my kids would eat them. Would your kids?
Do I dare try making it to see if they’d actually consume these?
Found on various pages on LiveJournal and on BoingBoing.

Those look weird. Hope your kids eat them!
One thing my daughter likes is octopus hotdogs. http://lunchinabox.net/2008/02/22/how-to-make-an-octodog-octopus-hot-dog/
That is just strange looking. I don’t think my kids would eat it not b/c it looks weird but b/c it would be hot dogs w/ noodles.
hey, I saw that a few days ago! I need to try that at least once… I’m not actually going to eat it though — that will be hubby’s job.
I think I’ll also try @thien-kim’s creepy octopus weiners!
Oh man, those things gross me out every time I see the picture. Gag!! I might let DH make them for the kids some night when I’m not home, but no way will I be witness to it!!
I totally wish I could make these for the girls but my older daughter dislikes hot dogs. *sigh*
While I understand boiling pasta, I never understood the boiling of hotdogs. Trying to get beyond the hotdog being boiled is holding me up from even considering the next step.
I just don’t think my kids would eat spaghettiweinies. eww.
How do you make your hotdogs?
I confess, I’m not much of a fan of hotdogs either.
no offense- but those look gross
Hey- I just re-read your bio on DCMM-
and I’m with you-
I’m an orioles fan, a redskins fan and I root for anyone playing against the Yankees
Yeah, I don’t think I could eat that. But my kids? I’m thinking they would get a kick out of it.
I saw this awhile ago and tried it. My kids LOVED them… and then they pulled all the spaghetti out of the hot dogs and ate just the hot dogs. *sigh*
