Here’s my morning so far:
I realized I haven’t sent my parents their Christmas present yet.
(I know, I know. That’s a whole other issue.)
So I went to go find it.
It’s scattered over the three floors of my home but I collect it all.
Then I search for a padded envelope to put it in.
No padded envelope anywhere to be found.
Need a padded one since one of the items is breakable.
You’d think in the 1000 times I’ve been to Target this week, I could’ve bought a padded envelope!
*sigh*
So now what do I do?
I could go get a padded envelope (along with a hundred other things I don’t need) from Target.
But then here’s what will happen:
I’d come home.
The padded envelope would be left on the counter, forgotten as I do important things like feed my children.
Padded envelope will develop feet and wander away.
Gift will get scattered again.
In about a week or month, the entire process will have to be repeated.
*sigh* again
The other option is to take the gift items and address with me to Target, get the padded envelope and then head straight to the P.O.
The very thought just exhausts me.

We are chronically late with our gifts and things. Every year I have such good intentions…
I understand what you mean: option A doesn’t sound as if it’s going to work.
Option B: who can really get organized to do that??
I have a box filled, taped, and addressed and sitting on the kitchen counter for 4 months now. I am notoriously late when it requires a trip to the post office.
