I love Santa Claus. I always have. There are more Santa themed ornaments on my tree than any other holiday motif or icon. I remember clearly when I discovered that Santa Claus does not come down the chimney on Christmas Eve and leave gifts. My cousin told me. I wasn’t traumatized though. I just accepted that it is the way it is–after all, I still received presents!
I still believe in Santa Claus though. Some might call it the spirit of Christmas or whatever, but I choose to credit random acts of kindness, miracles and good things around the holidays to Santa Claus.

Santa fan too! I have a mantle of Santas that I started collecting and ornaments too. I’m all about themes. I agree with what you said about the spirit of Christmas…how else can you explain it?
