It’s been awhile since I’ve done this, so I thought I’d do it this week! We’ll consider this my NaBloPoMo post!
Both tips are baby-related, although I’ve employed both tips for my older children as well.
I keep a loaded diaper bag in the minivan (for my older kids, a full change of clothing is in that bag). I figure I’ll never be too far from my car if a blow-out occurs, and if I am in a rush to get out the door, I am reassured that I’ll have all necessary supplies wherever I am going.
The second is this: when changing the crib sheets (which I personally find to be a pain), I’ve taken to putting multiple sheets on the mattress. This way when it is time for a fresh sheet, I simply peel away the top layer. If the baby has an accident or spits-up, it’s easy to get a new sheet, especially if it’s the middle of the night when these accidents are bound to happen! I’ve been known to put a mattress pad down, two or three sheets, antoher mattress pad if I have one and then a few more sheets (yes, we have lots of sheets, collected for three babies!). This also works for my big kids’ beds!

Such a good idea on the crib sheets! I will have to remember that for when my little one arrives in February!!
That’s a great idea for crib sheets!! I always dread changing them because our mattress is so tight you have to take the bumper pad off and take the mattress out too! This will save so much work! Thanks!
What a great idea about the crib sheets! To bad my daughter only slept in her crib for about 3 months!
